North Central Regional Jail and Correctional Facility is operated by the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Bureau of Prisons and Jails. The official facility address is 1 Lois Lane, Greenwood, WV 26415. For Monongalia County, that location can be confusing because it sits in Doddridge County, west of Clarksburg, rather than in downtown Morgantown. West Virginia uses regional jails, so a person arrested by the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office, Morgantown Police Department, WVU Police, West Virginia State Police, or another local agency may be transported to North Central after the arrest paperwork is complete.
